Keeping data at home: AI remediation in your own environment

Source code and vulnerability findings are some of the most sensitive data you hold. Why where your remediation AI runs is a first-order buying question.

AI can dramatically speed up remediation: proposing upgrades, generating code changes and writing regression tests. But to do that, it needs access to some of the most sensitive data an organisation holds — source code, configuration and a map of where you are vulnerable.

The question to ask first

Before comparing features, ask: where does our data go? A list of your unpatched, reachable weaknesses is exactly what an attacker would want. Sending it to services outside your control may be unacceptable to your risk, privacy or regulatory teams — and rightly so.

Options that keep control

  • Run within your environment. The platform operates inside your own infrastructure boundary.
  • Use a local AI model. Code and findings never need to leave your control to benefit from AI assistance.
  • Minimise and log. Only the data needed is processed, access is limited by role, and activity is recorded.

Security tools should not create new exposure

A remediation platform should reduce your attack surface, not add to it. QsecurityAI can run within your environment, including with a local AI model, so sensitive code and findings remain under your control.
